James Corden is the host of late night television talk show The Late Late Show with James Corden. Broadcast every week night from Los Angeles, the show premiered on CBS in March 2015 to rave reviews.  Corden is also the Tony Award winning star of one of the biggest theatrical hits of recent years, One Man, Two Guvnors - the show was loved by critics and adored by audiences, and a triumph in London’s West End before becoming even bigger on Broadway. He has also starred in productions of The History Boys at the National Theatre and Broadway, A Respectable Wedding at the Young Vic and Martin Guerre in the West End.

 

Corden's previous film roles include The Three Musketeers, Gulliver’s Travels, Telstar, How to Lose Friends & Alienate People, Starter for 10,  All or Nothing, and the reprise of his West End role in the critically acclaimed film adaptation of The History Boys. In 2013 he also completed Begin Again alongside Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo, and the Weinstein production, One Chance. Christmas 2014 saw the release of Stephen Sondheim musical adaption Into The Woods, with James starring alongside Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Anna Kendrick, Emily Blunt and Chris Pine.

 

As well as co-creating and co-writing the BAFTA and British Comedy award winning BBC TV series Gavin and Stacey, other TV work has included Horne and Corden, James Corden's World Cup Live, Little Britain, Fat Friends, Cruise of the Gods, Dalziel and Pascoe, Judge John Deed, Jack and the Beanstalk, Teachers, Hollyoaks, Boyz Unlimited and The Vicar of Dibley. He is the four-time host of The BRIT Awards and is the current host of Sky 1's hugely popular sports quiz A League Of Their Own. James also co-created and co-wrote the BBC series The Wrong Mans, which became BBC2’s highest rating debut since Ricky Gervais’ Extras eight years previous. Nominated for a BAFTA for both his writing and performance in series one, The Wrong Mans returned at Christmas 2014 for two excellently received specials.  

 

In 2016, James took on the presenting of The Tony Awards, which resulted in the highest viewing figures in 15 years, growing by 33% from the previous year. During his career to date, James has been recognised with numerous awards, including a Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Award for Comedy Writer of the Year, South Bank Show Award for Comedy, Tric Award for Best Comedy, National Television Award in 2010 for Best Comedy, GQ Award for TV Personality, BAFTA’s for Best Comedy Performance and Best Male Comedy Performance, the prestigious Tony Award for One Man, Two Guvnors, as well as most recently the Outstanding Interactive Program Emmy Award for The Late Late Show.

 

James also continues to have great success with Carpool Karaoke as part of The Late late Show, with collaborations from the likes of Elton John, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber.
