Ben Turner is a director, producer and founding partner of Fulwell 73 Productions. He started in the industry as an editor and has worked across a range of genres in documentary, drama, comedy and music. Turner first came to public attention for the feature documentary “In The Hands of the Gods” (Lionsgate), which he co-directed with his brother Gabe and edited in his bedroom. He has since won awards for a range of films and documentary series, including the hit feature “Class of ‘92” (Universal), “I Am Bolt” (Universal), and most recently “Hitsville: The Making of Motown” (Showtime). As Fulwell 73 has grown as a company, Turner has increasingly worked as an executive producer on a range of projects, including two seasons of the acclaimed Netflix series “Sunderland ‘Til I Die,” the latest installment of “All or Nothing: Juventus” for Amazon, and “Jack Whitehall’s Sporting Nation” for BBC1.

Ben has directed music videos for a range of artists, including Harry Styles, Demi Lovato, Little Mix and Olly Murs and commercials for brands such as Honda, Coca-Cola, Rimmel, Sainsbury’s and SKII. Any success as a filmmaker will always be a poor consolation for his lifelong dream of becoming an astronaut. He has recently come as close as he will ever get by working alongside NASA to bring the documentary series “Among The Stars” to Disney+ in Fall 2021.
