Gabe is an Emmy and Bafta nominated Producer/Director who has worked across a multitude of genres, platforms and roles within the TV, Film and Advertising Industries, and is responsible for some of the most engaging and shared content in the world. He co-founded Fulwell 73 in 2005 and is still a partner today.
His career started with the critically acclaimed feature doc ‘In The Hands of the Gods’ (Lionsgate), which he co-directed with his brother Ben, before they went on to make ‘The Class of 92’ for Universal, which became the fastest selling sports documentary of all time. He followed that with ‘I am Bolt’ which was described by the Guardian Newspaper as the Greatest Sports Doc of all time. Recently the Turner brothers made ‘Hitsville: The Making of Motown’ which is the first and only official telling of the Motown story, staring founder Berry Gordy, Smokey Robinson and the great Stevie Wonder.
In 2014 Gabe directed his first fiction feature film ‘The Guvnors’, which went on to win two National Film Awards.
His work also includes commercials for numerous global brands such as Apple, Samsung, Nissan, Honda, Audeamars Piguet, SKII and Keurig Coffee and he has made numerous music videos for Sony & Universal for artists like Demi Lovato and One Direction. The ‘Drag Me Down’ video that he co-directed with Ben Turner went on to win ‘Best British Artist Video’ at the Brit Awards.
Gabe has also Exec Produced numerous TV shows, including Bafta Nominated ‘Stand Up to Cancer for Channel 4, ‘Sounds Like Friday Night (BBC1) Rost Battle UK (Comedy Central) and Jack Whitehall’s ‘Feeling Nuts Comedy Night’ (C4) involving a cancer awareness campaign that reached almost 800 million people.
In 2015 he went over to the U.S to develop the ‘Late Late Show’ with Ben Winston and the show’s host, James Corden. He directed the pilot for the Internet sensation, ‘Carpool Karaoke’, with James Corden and singing superstar, Mariah Carey.
