Fulwell 73 are looking for AP’S for a live, multi-layered fundraising event which requires fast turnaround ideas for comedy, music and science content. We are looking for great people with a comedy entertainment background with strong organisational skills as well as good comedy instincts. Candidates must be able to work under pressure, have good writing skills and be able to develop strong ideas for both VT’s and studio-based content. We are opening up an exciting opportunity for a Senior Development Producer or Executive who specialises in factual-entertainment formats and popular factual content. This is a role for a senior-level career-developer who has spent the majority of their television career working as part of unscripted development teams and who is looking for a long-term development role.

Responsibilities:

The candidates we are looking for will be able to demonstrate the following experience:

● A minimum of five years working within unscripted development roles.

● A track record in developing factual content and factual-entertainment formats that were commissioned to broadcast.

PRODUCTION MANAGER 

Fulwell73 are looking for a versatile experienced Production Manager to work on across a variety of productions supporting the in-house production team in our Music & Sports features & series department.

 

This role is to support a core team of the Senior Executive and Production Executives across a slate of programming and development in multiple genres.

Potential Start Date: Monday 5th July 2021 (12 months)

Location: London

Core Responsibilities:

  • The Production Manager is responsible for supporting the Production Executive in the day to day running of the department. The Production Manager will report to the Production Executive.

  • The Production Manager will work closely with the development team and current productions, ensuring smooth transition from development, production through to final delivery.

  • The Production Manager assists freelance staff with guidance on company policies systems, including PMI accounting, health & safety (including Covid protocols) and production processes.

  • The Production Manager will assist the Production Executive with budget & contract preparation/development and the general running of the department, as directed.

  • Helping set up productions, ensuring incoming freelance production teams have the correct documentation in place before production begins and the resources to produce the creative brief of the commission.

  • Assist the Production Executive and Senior Executive writing budgets – ensuring the delivery of accurate budgets and production planning in a demanding and changing environment.

  • Set up and cost manage taster shoots for development department.

  • Clear-up on existing productions once freelance teams have completed their contracts.

  • Assisting with the day to day company production duties, including credit card reconciliations, petty cash management and managing costs for the department development team.

  • Set up interviews with staff develop, staffing schedules for each project ahead of production commencing, sending booking confirmations, IR35 checks and raising contracts for employment of freelancers.

  • Offer services on occasion to productions, providing specific production support during busier periods, such as location filming.

  • Assist the company Production Executive to oversee the tracking and accounting of ALBERT, carbon monitoring. Finding ways to make productions more sustainable.

Skills and Experience: 

  • A keen interest in Music and understanding of Sport could be beneficial, though this is not essential.

  • Successful candidates will have a strong background in high end observational documentary series, entertainment shows and factual entertainment.

  • Candidates should have used PMI to a basic level, though additional training will be provided.

 FACTUAL  

EDIT ASSISTANT

Fulwell 73 are looking for an experienced Edit Assistant, to join the team on a high-profile documentary series for Amazon. Applicants must have at least three similar credits on their CV.

 

 

 

Potential Start Date: ASAP (until early August)

Location: London

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • As this show has a particular focus on the Italian market, an Italian speaker would be an advantage although not essential. 

  • After the initial training, where you will be shown how we run things specifically on this project, you will be working unaided on Saturdays preparing picture lock (online prep) turnovers. Therefore the right candidate must be very knowledgable about these processes and have enough experience to be comfortable working alone.

  • This is for a Tuesday - Saturday shift pattern, including occasional late evenings when required to meet schedule deadlines.  

  • Start date is ASAP until early August with potential to extend.

PRODUCTION MANAGER

The Production Manager is a key member of the production team reporting to the Senior Executive. The role runs from the 1st August, with potential to extend beyond the initial period and will be based in London pending government guidelines, if this is not possible then the role will be remote. A successful candidate will enjoy working across a busy scripted department

 

Role: Production Manager (Scripted Features)

Core responsibilities:

The Production Manager will be responsible for the day to day Pre Prep / Development of

multiple projects.

● Create preliminary budgets & schedules with the SE

● Be across initial casting and HOD appointments for projects

● ensure all milestones are met and deliveries are on time

● Communicate regularly with senior management throughout the project

● Be across all shoots around the UK, including travel and working to travel restrictions at

the time

 

Skills and experience:

● Must have at least 3 Production Manager credits in Mid Level Scripted Features

 MUSIC & SPORTS    

RUNNER 

We are looking for a small pool of runners with availability throughout July and August, exact dates pending. The roles would involve assisting with shoots in London and the North West. Candidates must have experience of working with crews in an interview setup, and a strong technical understanding would be beneficial. All interviews will be conducted under strict covid restrictions. A driver's license will be essential, other responsibilities will include handling petty cash, paperwork, managing rushes, clearances and general assistance.

We are looking for an experienced Director of Photography to work on a high profile feature documentary for Sky. Starting immediately the successful candidate will be required to set the tone and shoot contributor interviews with a camera assistant and sound recordist. FINISHING EDITOR 

We are looking for an experienced finishing editor to work on a high profile feature documentary for Sky. Cutting on AVID, the successful candidate must have experience of finishing and delivering long form content. The feature will cover a major sporting story from 2021, so an interest in sport would be beneficial but not essential. The role would be due to start in mid-August for an 8-9 week run. Within this period you may also be required to cut a trailer for the finished film.

ASSISTANT PRODUCER/RESEARCHER (OFFICE BASED)

We are looking for a Assistant Producer / Researcher to join an ambitious sports documentary project.  You will be working closely with high profile sporting talent on an eight part documentary series for Fulwell 73 producers of Sunderland ‘Til I Die, I am Bolt & All or Nothing: Juventus.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Series Producer you will support the production team by sourcing & securing access to; contributors and locations as well as creating comprehensive research notes for a high profile eight part sports documentary series.

 

Skills and Experience: 

  • Research & write character biographies on high profile athletes.  

  • Develop and research story ideas for high profile sport documentary series.

  • Research shoot locations & source additional contributors.   

  • Excellent knowledge of world football

 Production Secretary  

About The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Production Secretary for a studio final for an established CBBC music entertainment series. 
 

The studio final will be at Dock 10 studios in Salford on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th June and you will need to be available to travel to Manchester on Thursday 24th June.

The position will run from approximately 1st June  - Friday 2nd July - and will be a combination of remote working and days working in the Fulwell Islington office.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Booking hotel and travel for contributors & presenters, crew and the production team.

  • Liaising with the main contributors ahead of filming at the studio

  • Obtaining release forms for studio guests

  • Liaising with the Dock 10 studio coordinator and the studio crew 

  • A knowledge of covid protocols for production

  • Reconciling petty cash and credit card expenses on PMI

  • Raising purchase orders on PMI

  • Working alongside the Production Coordinator to help with music clearances

About The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Production Coordinator for a studio final for an established CBBC music entertainment series.

  • Setting up a VT shoot ahead of the studio RX

  • Liaising with the Dock 10 studio coordinator and the studio crew

  • Working alongside the edit and liaising with the editorial team as well as the post-production facility, and looking after the show final deliverables to the BBC

  • Delivery of post-production paperwork to a Broadcaster on Silvermouse

  • Knowledge of implementing sustainability practices and completing paperwork for Albert submissions

Skills and experience:

  • Must be French speaking or fluent in French.

  • Experience filming outside of the UK and in challenging locations would be an advantage, specifically in Africa.

The Production Coordinator is a key member of the production team reporting to the Production Manager.

 

The role runs from 17th May to 10th September and will be based in London pending government guidelines, if this is not possible then the role will be remote. 

A successful candidate will enjoy working across a busy domestic travel show with various talent for an online broadcaster. 

 

Core responsibilities:

  • Working closely with Production setting up of shoots (on location): booking crew, travel, catering, finances, kit.

  • UK Travel may be required.

  • Assist Post Production with rushes and deliverables. 

 

Skills and experience: 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 

  • Must have at least 3 Coordinator credits – ideally in travel/comedy 

  • Have experience working during Covid and arranging testing for individual shoots.

  • Excel and Google operating system skills needed 

  • Good eye for detail 

  • Good communication skills to ensure latest information is shared across the team

About The Role: 

The Production Manager is a key member of the production team reporting to the Line Producer and Production Executive. The role runs from the 17th May - 14th July and will be based in London pending government guidelines, if this is not possible then the role will be remote.

Core responsibilities: 

The Production Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the show. 

  • Manage budget and timeline throughout production with the Line Producer 

  • Be across post schedule and ensure all milestones are met and deliveries are on time

  • Communicate regularly with senior management throughout the project 

  • Be across all shoots around the UK, including travel and working to travel restrictions at the time

  • Clearance for all archive and music, working closely with edit producers 

  • Ensure the show is of first class quality and completely compliant

  • Must have at least 3 Production Manager credits – ideally in travel/comedy 

  • Accomplished in cost management and PMI
