Cinderella based on an original idea from James Corden is to be written and directed by Kay Cannon. (Pitch Perfect / Blockers). Corden will also Produce with Leo Pearlman. Camila Cabello, formerly of the pop group Fifth Harmony, is to star in this new reimagining. This will mark Cabello’s film acting debut. The Grammy-nominated “Havana” singer will also be involved in the music for the film to be produced for Sony Pictures.
